What This Site Is
Crimson Moon Wiki is an independent, fan-made reference site for Crimson Moon, the dark-fantasy Action RPG developed and published by ProbablyMonsters. We write beginner guides, build breakdowns, boss strategies, weapon notes, boon explanations and walkthroughs — the practical stuff you actually search for at 1am when a boss has killed you twelve times.
Everything here is written and maintained by players. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ProbablyMonsters, Valve, or any platform holder. All trademarks and game assets belong to their respective owners.
Why We Started It
Crimson Moon launched on September 1, 2026 for PC via Steam, and the community ran straight into the problem every Souls-like has at launch: the information exists, but it's scattered across Discord threads, Steam discussions and half-finished Reddit posts. Someone works out that a boon interaction is busted, posts it in a server nobody can search, and two thousand players rediscover it independently over the next week.
This site exists to be the place that stops that loop — one page per question, written plainly, kept current.
How We Verify Things
Every stat, drop, and mechanic on this site is drawn from official sources — the Steam store, developer posts, and patch notes — plus our own launch-day playthroughs. We publish what we write as fact and keep pages current as the game evolves. If anything proves inaccurate, we correct it promptly.
Editorial Standards
- Fact-first. Every stat, drop, and mechanic on this site is drawn from official posts, the Steam store, or launch-day coverage — no invented numbers.
- No spoilers without warning. Late-game areas and boss identities are clearly labelled so you can avoid them if you're playing blind.
- Corrections are welcome and fast. If we get something wrong, tell us and we fix it. See contact.
- Advertising never influences content. If this site displays ads, they are served by third-party networks and have no bearing on what we write or how we rank guides. Details are in our privacy policy.
How This Site Is Funded
Hosting, domain and the time to maintain this are covered by display advertising. Advertising is what keeps the guides free and free of a login wall. We do not sell user data, and we do not run sponsored guides dressed up as editorial content.
Where to Start
If you're new, the beginner guide covers combat, stats and the first hour. If you're mid-game, the boss strategies and builds breakdown are the pages people come back to most. You can also grab the game on Steam if you haven't yet.
